Its molecule contains both methyl and diphenyl structures, combining flexibility with excellent heat resistance, weather resistance and anti-aging performance. The reaction proceeds steadily and is easy to control. As a high-grade organosilicon intermediate, it is mainly used to synthesize modified phenyl silicone resins, specialty silicone oils and high-temperature resistant silicone rubbers. It also serves as an additive for weather-resistant and anti-corrosion coatings as well as electronic insulation and encapsulation materials, and is widely applied in fine chemicals, electrical protection and polymer composite materials.
