It is a white crystalline powder. With diphenyl and hydroxyl groups in its molecular structure, it delivers excellent heat resistance, weatherability and yellowing resistance. It also has high crosslinking reactivity and good chemical stability.
As a key organosilicon intermediate, it is mainly used for the synthesis of high-temperature resistant phenyl silicone resins, special silicone oils and silicone rubbers. It is also applicable to the production of insulating coatings and sealants, as well as the modification of polymer materials.
