The product is nontoxic and insipid. As there are fair quantity
of relatively active Si-H bonds in the molecule, under the action of
catalysts it can react with chemicals containing active groups such
as double bonds or hydroxyl groups. The product is mainly used as the basic material for the
production of foam leveling agent or polyether modified silicone oil
such as water soluble silicone oil. It can also be used as the
waterproofing agent or softener for natural or synthetic fiber
products, silk and leather. There is the choice on different
hydrogen content and viscosity. Good water repellency. Suitable for
powder treatment such as glass, metals, textile and powder
materials.
