The thermal silicone fluids are described in chemical
notation as aromatic siloxane because of the presence of phenyl group. High
phenyl content fluids are utilized as heat-exchange fluids, dielectric
coolant, impregnants for sintered metal bearing, and base oils for high
temperature fluids. Low phenyl content fluids are utilized at over
temperature than high phenylsilicones and find extended temperature service
applications as lubricating oils for critical devices such as timers and
system involving rubber, plastic and aluminum mating surface.
Low viscosity, low freezing
point, good heat resistivity, high flash point, low expansion coefficient,
excellent electrical insulation property. Used as insulation impregnating
agent for large scale power condenser and separation and anti-adherent
for blood bag and transfusion bag, basic oil for surgical medicines,
cosmetics and oil additives for skin-care, chilblain preventive agents
